Product Overview
The DLB Series Multi-Function Granulator and Coater provides fluid-bed granulation, drying and coating in a multifunction system. Typical materials and duties include powders, granules and suitable pellet or particle coating applications.
Working Principle

Conditioned air fluidizes the material in the process container. Depending on the selected top-spray, bottom-spray or tangential-spray arrangement, liquid is introduced for granulation, pellet formation or coating while simultaneous heat and mass transfer dries the product.

Wide Range of Applications
Mixing
For fluidizable materials such as powders, granules, pellets, etc., uniform mixing can be achieved in this equipment. Due to the three-dimensional air movement (horizontal, radial, and tangential directions), the mixing effect is excellent.
Granulation
By spraying binder onto powdered materials, products with various particle size ranges can be produced.
Coating
An efficient bottom-spray system for the material bed, equipped with a novel three-layer nozzle, is used for film coating of powders, granules, or pellets.
Hot-melt coating
Hot-melt materials such as hot wax can be used for film coating of powders, granules, and pellets.
Spray drying
Suspensions are sprayed onto powders.
Cooling
Dry cold air is used to fluidize the materials, achieving product cooling through fluidized boiling.
