The YPG Series uses a pressure nozzle at the top of the tower to atomize the feed into a co-current hot-air stream. Feed pressure, nozzle selection, feed rate, and drying conditions are coordinated to develop the required powder or granule characteristics.
Liquid feed is pressurized and delivered to the nozzle installed at the top of the drying tower, where it is atomized into fine droplets. Hot air enters from the tower top and flows downward in the same direction as the droplets.
Moisture evaporates during this co-current contact, and the dried product is discharged from the bottom of the tower. Fine powder entrained in the exhaust air is separated by the cyclone and dust collector.
