Drying Technology Developed Around Your Material
Innovation & Technology
YIBU combines equipment development, material trials and engineering experience to translate processing requirements into practical drying systems. Our work covers spray, fluid bed, flash and vacuum drying, together with mixing and granulation.

International Expertise: Prof. Arun S. Mujumdar
Professor Mujumdar’s career includes research and teaching at McGill University and the National University of Singapore. He founded the International Drying Symposium series and edited the Handbook of Industrial Drying. YIBU announced his appointment as Technology Consultant effective 15 April 2015, connecting the company’s development work with internationally recognized drying expertise.
University Cooperation and R&D
YIBU’s research cooperation has included Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Equipment development brings together academic knowledge, trial observations and manufacturing feedback, with attention to feeding, heat transfer, particle formation and product collection.
Patented Equipment Development
YIBU’s patent portfolio reflects development across drying and related powder processing equipment. These developments address specific equipment structures and processing needs, forming part of a continuing approach to practical engineering improvement.

Pilot Laboratory
The test center includes spray, pressure spray, flash, fluid bed and vacuum drying equipment, together with granulation systems.
Material trials help assess feed behavior, drying response and the resulting samples before an industrial configuration is finalized.

Material Trials and Scale-Up
Trial planning defines the material, safety information, sample quantity, equipment and evaluation methods. Records connect operating conditions with sample observations and agreed measurements. Findings are then reviewed with production capacity, utilities and site conditions to develop the industrial design basis.
01
Review the material
Feed properties and safety information
Target product and evaluation methods
02
Agree the trial
Equipment, sample quantity and scope
Test conditions and sample handling
03
Evaluate the findings
Operating observations and test samples
Methods, results and limitations
04
Develop the design basis
Production capacity and site conditions
Further tests or engineering review
