Figure 1 (also cover this issue BioPharm) is a scanning electron photomicrograph of AGT granulation. Granules of variable size result from the action of wetting and then instantaneous drying of the media constituent particles. Many of the advantages of AGT, such as low dust generation, rapid dissolution, complete constituent formulation, auto-pH adjustment, and simplicity of use, are attributable to these physical characteristics of the granules.
